To celebrate this milestone, we are putting together a HUGE album release party on Friday, July 8th at the Token Lounge in Westland, MI. This will be an 18 and up event, the cost will be $1...0 and everyone in attendance will receive a copy of the debut album. Our set time will be 10pm, and the other band set times are currently TBD. We see many of you at a lot of our shows (which is always greatly appreciated), but if you were only able to make it to one more show ever, this would be the one that you'd want to attend! You DO NOT want to miss it! Not only will you be the first to receive a copy of the new album and see us perform the album in it's entirety, but we are thrilled to be joined by three of Metro-Detroit's biggest and best bands; Rotation, Konniption Fit and Forest Wade! And as if that isn't already enough, The Rikki Roxx Effect of Tap Detroit (tapdetroit.com) will also be joining us to host and cover the show! This is going to be a show for the history books! Sadly, in addition to this being our official album release show, it is also the farewell show of our keyboardist, Mike Fritz. Mike has been a part of Morrow's Memory for almost two years now and has been an integral part of the band and our writing process. He will be moving to California to embark on the next step of his academic journey, where he'll be studying Chemistry at UCLA. We definitely don't want to see him go, but we are very supportive and proud of his great achievements, and we extend our very special thanks for his hard work and service to the band. This will be our first performance at a major venue with a national act! You'll probably remember Cold most for thier singles "Stupid Girl", "Gone Away" and "No One". They are a multimillion record selling Hard Rock/Alternative band that reached a great level of success between 1998 and 2006 before splitting up. Now they have reunited with their original lineup and are touring to promote their new album "American Dream"! We will be selling advance tickets for $15, so please contact a member of the band (Brian Sasanas, Joe Wolford, Mike Fritz, Scott Sarnia, Tony Fitchett or Zach Novak) to make your purchase! This is especially to show our appreciation to our friends and fans that have driven from out that way to each of ...our past shows. Saturday, August 14, 2010 | 9:36 PM We are very proud to announce that we (Morrow's Memory) will be the headlining band performing at WXC's (Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting) Island Rumble 3! WXC is an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) cagefighting league. This is one of their biggest events of the year and will be featuring several title fights near the end. The event is taking place on Saturday, August 28th in Monroe, MI at Dog Lady Island. The event runs from 3pm to 10pm and... we'll be hitting the stage sometime between 7:30pm and 8:30pm during the intermission before the final set of fights (I believe the fights start at around 6:30-7pm). There will be a lot of entertainment and activities going on throughout the day (MMA cagefighting, live music, mud wrestling, volleyball, etc). We'll have a twenty five minute set and are fully prepared to dominate the stage with a face-melting set! Admission to the event is $25 in advance and $30 at the door for an all access pass. As of right now we are writing music in preparation for our first show. We are currently wrapping up our sixth song, which happens to be our first "epic" song. Once we have enough material written for a show, we will be informing everyone of when and where to go to catch it! We are very excited to get out and perform, but also understand that creative works take time; and writing music is no exception.
